At the MODSIM World 2023 Conference, our Founder, Rick Stone, shared the stage with industry leaders as an invited panelist by Unity Technologies for the discussion, "Getting Beyond Phase II (Tales from the Trenches)." This presentation showcased our vast experience in transitioning SBIRs out of Phase II and provided insights into the intricacies of DoD acquisition in relation to SBIRs. We were proud to join the panel that included the Senior Manager for Strategy & Partnerships of Unity Technologies, the Portfolio Manager for the Army Applied Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Program at the Army Research Laboratory (ARL), the Department of the Navy’s SBIR/STTR Commercialization Manager, and the Senior Director of Capture at Slingshot Aerospace.
